Compliance basics for creator operations

Document your policies
Write down what is off-limits, who decides, and what the escalation path is. Most serious incidents come from a gap where everyone assumed someone else had handled it.
Age verification is non-negotiable
Every person on your team, and every creator account, must be verified as an adult through the platform's own process. Never accept a screenshot, a selfie, or an age assertion as verification.
Consent and rights
Anyone appearing in content has consented on record, and you know where that record is. This includes crew, friends, and anyone else who ends up in frame.
Record keeping
Keep contracts, verification confirmations, and communication logs for as long as your jurisdiction requires. Not because you expect a problem — because you cannot prove you handled one properly without them.
Someone is responsible
Name one person who owns compliance. Distributed responsibility means nobody does it.
