1. What we store

When you register we keep your display name, email address, a handle and optionally your city. Your password is stored only as a scrypt hash — the plain text is never written down or logged.

When you post an ad we keep the ad text, the category, location, rate, and the contact details you choose to enter.

2. Why

To run your account, to show the board, to let other members contact you, and to review ads before publication. That is the whole purpose.

3. Contact details on ads

Contact details on a live ad are shown to signed-in members only. They are not part of page metadata, not in search engines, and not visible to anonymous visitors. If an ad is unpublished, its contact details stop being shown at all.

4. Session cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. It holds a random identifier, is httpOnly, is set to sameSite=lax and is marked secure in production. See the cookie settings.

5. Generated images

If you use the cover generator, the text you wrote is sent to an external image provider to produce an image. The prompt and the resulting file are stored so the cover can be shown. Do not put personal data into a cover prompt.

6. How long

• Account data: until you delete your account.
• Ad data: until you delete the ad, or a moderator removes it.
• Sessions: until you log out, or after 30 days.
• Server logs: short rotation, typically 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can edit or delete your ads yourself. To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to [email protected]. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct, export or object to processing of your data.

8. What we do not do

No advertising networks, no third-party trackers, no selling of data. We do not share your details with anyone except where the law requires it.

9. Changes

This notice will be updated as the service changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
